the italian firm iosa ghini associati have just finished bar, restaurant and conference room area for boscolo exedra hotel, in nice, france. the concept that informed the project was to create a contemporary version of the belle époque lines of the lavish historic envelope. the design evokes a forest where the columns resemble trees and the lighting fixtures look like openings trough which natural light passes.
